Your Privacy

Some data pertinent to your enquiry are maintained on this web site. Depending on the status of your enquiry we maintain different levels of data. If your loan did not progress beyond an enquiry stage then simply the data you entered or provided to your consultant is maintained. However if you settled your loan via the services of one of our mortgage consultants then we may maintain the loan balance.

In the course of your usage of this website you may enter further information pertinent to your circumstances, for example your current property value.

Online Security
All transmissions between your browser and our server are secured from interception. By encrypting the data it means that the information you send is scrambled in such a way that only our server can read it. So even if your data gets intercepted as it travels across the Internet, it will be indecipherable.

We use the industry recognised Apache SSL technology. When you enter one of our web screens, your browser might warn that a certificate has been received, do you wish to proceed. You should say 'Yes' to this. You should receive the certificate because it carries in it the algorithm which the browser uses to encode the transmission of data back to our server.

We have tried to restrict the collection of information online to the minimum required by the Mortgage Consultants. We keep this information in secure databases behind firewalls to make sure that no unauthorised access can be made to your information. Staff are only provided access to this information on a need to know basis as part of our standard operational procedures.

Who Else Receives Your Details
Once you become a member of the site and enter the initial financial details online, a consultant is allocated to look after your account. You will be able to view your consultant details once you are logged into the software.

If you proceeded with a full application using our service, your application and supporting documentation will have been viewed by the selected lender. In turn they may have provided some of these details to other parties as part of the loan approval process. These parties may include:

  1. Representatives of the chosen lender or lenders
  2. Property Valuation Consultants - if a property valuation is required
  3. A Mortgage Insurer - if the mortgage needs to be insured
We do not release your details to other organisations. We will however release details if the law or the interests of law enforcement require it. Other than this exception, we will not release applicant details to any third parties unrelated to the processing of your loan application.

How The Information Is Used
On this site we use your information for the following purposes:

  1. to monitor your loan balance on a monthly basis
  2. to project your growth in equity
  3. to aid you in some calculations such as budgeting
  4. to facilitate management of your loan when you require changes to your loan
  5. to remind you of fixed rate, interest-only and discount term expiry periods
